Urgent Prayer Need in Kenya

We received this from our colleague, Monica just minutes ago. Jack is her contact (and friend) when working in Kenya:

Urgent Prayer Request from Obambo

Cynthia, Sandra and Fiona, all school girls and nieces of Jack, are on a bus from Siaya to Nairobi. Their bus together with several others have not arrived in Nairobi. It is believed that the bus has been hijacked by the Mumgiki, who are a militant group in Kenya. Their aim is to kill and cause mayhem. They do not want the new government arrangements to work. To make matters worse the wife of one of their leaders was killed recently. Please pray and I will let you know when there is any news.
Monica

Update at 1.30pm:

GOOD NEWS FROM KENYA

Thank you for your prayers. Cynthia, Sandra and Fiona are safe at home.
Because of the wisdom of their bus driver they were able to get a Matatu to their home in Nairobi.
Please keep praying because of the threat of violence in Kenya.
Monica
